I had a lot of energy during the day today so I decided to squeeze in a workout during my lunch break. I quickly changed into workout clothes, locked my office door and popped in an "Insanity" DVD. Since I didn't have much time, I couldn't fit in a whole 45 minute workout so I opted for the "Fit Test." The fit test is no joke, by the end of the 25 minutes I was drenched in sweat and trying to figure out how on earth I would be able to change back into my tights (Ever tried to pull those on with damp legs? No fun). Luckily I had a small towel, some baby wipes, a face cleansing wipe and some BB cream to help me quickly transition back to a more presentable appearance. You can see the basic moves for the fit test on the right. Basically, after a quick warm up you go through 8 exercises and try for as many reps as possible of each in one minute. Then you have about 45 seconds-1 minute of rest before moving on to the next move. At the end there is a quick cool down and stretch...and voila! Mini-workout done by 2 pm! Now that I'm home, I pulled together a quick dinner based off of random leftover items in the fridge. |
I ended up using 1/2 a bell pepper, some onion, a handful of mushrooms, a couple red potatoes and some chicken breast to make a home-fries with chicken type of skillet thing. It wasn't the most amazing dinner, but it worked. Do you guys ever come up with weird leftover combinations?
