Good Morning!
Hope everyone's day is going well :)
I had kind of a slow start this morning, I was super comfy in bed and really didn't want to get up and get ready for work. I was laying there thinking of all the reasons why I'd rather be in bed and it gave me an idea for today's post. Instead of focusing on negative ideas - why not focus on the positive? Sometimes days can be rough, or you really might not want to conquer everything on your to-do list. But, there are ALWAYS small things to be thankful for. So, without further ado - here are five small things I'm thankful for today:

2. Sunshine It is supposed to get close to 80 Degrees here today! Crazy, right? I am thankful to be able to go outside in a T-shirt and not have to be all bundled up in a dozen layers. While I'd love to see the snow - I'm thankful to live in a very moderate climate. 4. Favorite TV Shows After a long day at work, sometimes it is so nice to just veg out on the sofa and catch up on my favorite shows. Last night I watched the latest episodes of The Mindy Project and Trophy Wife. I think these two shows are hilarious (especially the Mindy Project) and I totally recommend checking them out if you haven't already! | 1. Coffee One of the best parts of my morning is my first sip of coffee. I know it is probably not the best habit in the world, but on a groggy morning I'm super thankful to have a nice, sweet, cold coffee to perk me up! 3. Tasty (and healthy!) Smoothies Since getting my Nutribullet, I've been having a smoothie at least once a day and I can really feel the difference. All of the fruits and vegetables in there give me so much energy and help me make it through my day feeling alive, awake, and satisfied. Today's smoothie (shown on the left) has spinach, carrot, cucumber, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, greek yogurt and milk! Quite the variety :) 5. Upcoming Adventures! At the end of January I will be going on a mini-vacation to visit my family in Washington. I am super excited because it has been a long time and I really miss my mom & dad. I'm also excited to break out of the usual routine and see some new sights! We're planning a quick day trip to the mountains and I'm hoping we also get to hit Pike Market! Can't wait to show you guys the highlights. |
